It is with great regret that Federation of Asia Oceania Perinatal Societies announces the sad demise of Dato Dr Lim Nyok Ling from Malaysia.
She was the Consultant Neonatologist and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the Selayang hospital , Selangor, Malaysia. At the time of her demise she was in office as the Secretary General of the Federation. She was one of the most active and enthusiastic member of the FAOPS. She was the organizing chairperson of the FAOPS Congress in Kaulalampur in 2004. She had served as Country representative, as treasurer and then as Deputy Secretary General ( central zone) of FAOPS.
She was known for her friendly and sincere approach with dedication in everything she did. We will miss her very much and we pray that her soul may rest in peace.
