The 15th FAOPS in Nagoya, Japan
May 20th through 24th, 2008
Greetings from Congress President and Vice President
For more information, please contact us at http://faops15.umin.jp

It is indeed our greatest pleasure to welcome you to the 15th FAOPS in Nagoya, Japan on May 20th through 24th, 2008. We are proud to be able to bring the conference to Japan for the second time and Nagoya for the first time ever. We also would like all of you from Asia and Oceania to share the idea, problem, and development in perinatal health care.

Nagoya has a population of more than two million and is almost in the center of Japan. The city developed as the seat of the Daimyo (feudal) government and grew up around the 17th century castle. We hope you can enjoy touring Nagoya, where ancient tradition and modern dynamism unite. Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) is Japan’s most modern international airport. The train will take you to down town Nagoya within 30minutes from the airport. Travel times from Nagoya to the major cities Tokyo and Kyoto via Bullet train (Shinkansen) are 100minutes and 36minutes, respectively.

We do hope that the 15th Congress of FAOPS will be an opportunity for Pediatricians, Obstetricians, and Nurses from Asian and Oceania countries to realize the importance of Perinatal Medicine and to share new knowledge and the modern technology developed in these countries.
